Two arrested after man hurt in scissor incident

A man was wounded by what police believe was a pair of scissors at a house in Darfield, Barnsley.

The 38-year-old remains in hospital following the incident on Snape Hill Road last Friday, but his injuries are not life threatening.

Another man, aged 39, suffered minor cuts and bruises and was not admitted to hospital.

Two local men aged 26 and 52 were arrested on suspicion of committing assaults and have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
