Trial date fixed for farm murder case near Doncaster

The man accused of the farmhouse murder in Blaxton, near Doncaster, in February will go on trial at Sheffield Crown Court on August 11, a judge has decided.

Raymond Wild, aged 51, did not appear in the dock because of a mix-up over prison transport, but the case management hearing went ahead in his absence.

Wild, of Common Farm, Thorne Road, is accused of murdering his second wife, Sheila Wild, aged 49, at their address.
