Trapped driver cut from wreck

A DRIVER escaped serious injury in a car crash in Cantley, Doncaster, at the weekend.

Fire crews were called to Everingham Road just after 8.15am on Sunday, after reports were received of a car going out of control and ending up on its side.

The firefighters spent almost an hour cutting a casualty free from the damaged vehicle.

A police spokesman said no serious injuries had been sustained.
