Tram passes summer sale
TRAM pass prices in Sheffield are being slashed over the summer months.
Supertram – run by the Stagecoach Group – is offering travel discounts on four-week tram-only Megarider tickets, cutting the price from £42 to £36 on any tickets purchased in July and August.
The company’s four-week tram and bus Megarider ticket – which can be used on all Stagecoach buses in Sheffield – will be £40, down from the usual price of £46.
Launching the sale, Supertram general manager Glenn Stocks said: “This is great news for our customers who can now travel by tram for as little as £9 a week.
“Our passengers are very loyal and we are happy to offer them an extra special discount on our tickets over the summer to let them explore Sheffield by tram at bargain prices.” Visit www.supertram.com
