A MAN was rushed to hospital after he was slashed across the throat in an attack on a Sheffield street.
The 21-year-old was injured on Manor Lane, Manor Park, in the early hours of Sunday.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and was detained on a ward yesterday. His condition is ‘stable’.
Jason Windle, 34, of Harborough Avenue, Manor, is charged with assault and remanded in custody for a week by Sheffield magistrates.
Two other men arrested in connection with the incident have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
