Three charged after burglary death

POLICE have charged three more suspects over a disturbance in South Yorkshire in which a father-of-three was killed.

Justin Hague, aged 40, of Whitehill Drive, Brinsworth, Rotherham, was stabbed when he was among a group who entered a house on Godric Drive, on the other side of Brinsworth, on December 3 last year.

Mr Hague, who was married, suffered a number of stab wounds and was found bleeding on nearby Godric Green.

He was rushed to Rotherham District General Hospital but could not be saved.

Mr Hague’s son Karl Hague, aged 19, also from Brinsworth, has already appeared at court charged with aggravated burglary in connection with the incident. He was remanded in custody and due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court next month.

Now South Yorkshire Police have charged three more suspects with aggravated burglary - a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old, both from Treeton and a 25-year-old from Kiveton.

They have been bailed by police and are due to appear at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court next Wednesday.

Two other men, both aged 22, one from Sheffield and one from Brinsworth, who were arrested as part of the murder investigation in the early aftermath are still on police bail.
