A teenager was fighting for life in hospital last night after crashing his car into a wall in South Yorkshire.
The 19-year-old was at the wheel of a blue MG which crashed into a wall near to the entrance of Rotherham Rugby Club on Badsley Moor Lane at around 1.10am.
The young man, who lives in Rotherham, was taken to hospital where he was being treated for life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses to the incident, which happened on Saturday, should call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 78 of December 14.
Meanwhile another man was cut free from a car by firefighters following a crash on Sheffield Road, Killamarsh, at just before 11pm on Saturday.
The casualty was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries.
