A speed restriction of 40mph is in place on the Tinsley Viaduct in Sheffield today - because of high winds.

Wind speeds have been steadily building overnight across the North, with gusts of 42mph recorded on the Viaduct this morning.

Gusts of 58mph have also been recorded near Flouch Roundabout.

Emergency services dealt with a lorry which overturned on the A1, north of Doncaster, this morning, which is believed may have blown over in strong winds.
