A Rotherham worker had a hair raising experience when she went for the chop and had her locks shaved off for charity.
Beverley Randell-Eyre, aged 37, was raising funds for KartForce, a charity which offers go-karting sessions to injured troops.
Beverley, who works at marketing company ProCo in Rotherham, said: “I know that my hair will grow back, their limbs won’t ever come back.”
David Richards, founder of KartForce said: “Bev’s support means so much to us.”
He added: “Shaving her head is such a brave thing to do and we want to thank Pro Co for helping make this event such a success.”
Beverley managed to raise £1,200 in two months and was supported by her colleagues who donated cash and raffle prizes.
