South Yorkshire weather forecast - cold with risk of snow Thursday

TEMPERATURES will rise to a relatively balmy 5C today, before plunging to below zero at night for the rest of the week.
Paul Mott, forecaster with the Meteo Group, said there would be something of a thaw today, with sunny spells and gentle winds.
But it would turn clear in the evening and temperatures would drop. There was a risk of more snow on Thursday, he added.
* TUESDAY: Cold but largely dry. Freezing at night.
* WEDNESDAY: set to be cold or very cold with overnight frosts and lying snow likely to persist.
* THURSDAY: risk of snow
