Thousands gathered at Endcliffe Park for the Friends of the Porter Valley’s annual duck race today.

Some 2,500 ducks raced down the river in a bid to raise money for the Friends’ Forge Dam Appeal.

The race began at 2pm and there were also stalls, a dog agility course and an Easter bonnet competition.
