Sheffield shoppers dig deep for armed forces charity

Shoppers in Sheffield were asked to dig deep for past and present members of the armed forces who need help.

Armed forces cadets from Endcliffe Hall and Manor Top detachments headed to the city centre with collection buckets as part of Soldiers,Sailors and Airmans Families Association (SSAFA’s) annual flag day. Coun Vickie Priestley, Lord Mayor of Sheffield, was among the first to donate on the day, which raised £383.84.
