Sheffield serial waste dumper is fined again by magistrates

A serial fly-tipper with three previous convictions has been prosecuted by Sheffield Council for dumping waste at two sites and burning it.

Robert William Dillon, aged 69, of Bridle Stile Close, Chapeltown, Sheffield, was fined £800 and ordered to pay £500 costs after he deposited rubbish on land in his street and at Cyclops Street, Grimesthrope.

The court heard Dillon had already been prosecuted for a similar offence in 2011 and convicted of fly tipping offences in two other prosecutions by North East Derbyshire District Council.
