The first photographs have emerged of Sheffield world boxing champion after he was stabbed on holiday in Tenerife.
The 28-year-old is conscious, but his leg is heavily bandaged.
In one of the photographs, published on Twitter, he is pictured with his promoter Eddie Hearn, who arrived on the Spanish island this morning.
Eddie said on Twitter: “A big thank you for all the support and messages to Kell Brook.”
Brook is currently in a stable condition in Candelaria Hospital in Santa Cruz.
He was stabbed in the leg following an altercation at an apartment complex on Thursday morning.
It is not the first time the Grenoside-based boxer has been stabbed – in 2007, he sustained serious injuries following a night out in Sheffield.
He suffered stab wounds when he was attacked in Spital Hill, apparently after leaving a club, in Earsham Street, Burngreave.
Brook won the IBF welterweight title when he beat American Shawn Porter in California last month.
He is scheduled to return to the ring at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on December 6
