Rovers fans can light up a fag at the match

DONCASTER Rovers supporters keen to enjoy a cigarette to calm their nerves during matches will be able to light up thanks to a new initiative.

The Keepmoat Stadium is a no smoking zone but the club has created a ‘smoking bubble’ where supporters desperate for a quick puff will be able to light up at half time.

Following a successful trial at the club’s last home fixture, the bubble will be in operation again this Saturday against Leyton Orient, and at future home games.

The scheme was introduced at the request of supporters after concerns of fans illegally lighting up.

Each stand will have a smoking bubble – exit doors BB in the East Stand, exit doors F South Stand, exit doors K West Stand, and exit doors RR North Stand.

Fans will need to present their season ticket or match ticket in order to gain re-entry.
