Resurfacing works are coming to Chesterfield

More than £220,000 worth of road repairs and improvements will be carried out in Chesterfield throughout July.

Newbold Road and Loundsley Green Road will be resurfaced as part of works totalling £911,000 being carried out across Derbyshire.

The pavement along Glenthorne Close in Ashgate will also be resurfaced at a cost of £19,000.

The money is part of a £35 million package that Derbyshire County Council will spend improving the roads in 2014/15.
