Proud Blades fans have walked away from a nail-biting FA Cup semi-final with their heads held high.
The 32,000 Sheffield United crowd’s roars and cheers helped the team score three goals in their thrilling clash with Yorkshire rivals Hull City at Wembley Stadium.
Although they were eventually defeated 5-3, loyal supporters were proud of their side for throwing everything they had at the opposition - which are two divisions above them in the league.
The Blades were on track for glory at the end of the first half, leading 2-1 to the fans’ delight. But despite the players’ valiant efforts they were unable to fight off their rivals’ attacks to triumph by full time.
