Ponds Forge was evacuated on Tuesday evening after a car crashed into the side of the venue causing a minor chlorine leak.
The silver Citreon smashed into a wall of the 50m competition pool near the chlorine control panel. There were no injuries to the driver and passenger.
According to South Yorkshire Fire Service at the scene the centre was evacuated and the area cordoned off while an engineer fixed a minor leak.
A spokesperson for Ponds Forge International Sports Centre said: “Ponds Forge International Sports Centre will re-open tomorrow morning, with the exception of the pool areas whilst an assessment is made of the damage caused by a car crashing into the building.
“The gym and sports hall will be open and all planned examinations are to go ahead.”
