Police advice over security

MOTORBIKE and scooter riders are being urged to step up their security following an increase in the number of thefts.

Officers from the Barnsley Central Safer Neighbourhood Team said motorists who park their vehicles in the town are being urged to ‘take all precautions to protect’ their property.

Anyone with information about the recent spate of thefts in Barnsley should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
