Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses to a collision which left four men injured.

A black Vauxhall Astra was travelling along Broom Lane, Rotherham, when it left the road and ploughed into a tree just before 9pm on Tuesday, July 29.

Four men were taken to hospital, one of whom is still receiving treatment.

The car was travelling from Rotherham towards the roundabout on East Bawtry Road and was on the wrong side of the carriageway when the collision occurred.

It is believed another vehicle was travelling with the Astra but it did not stop.

Officers also believe the Astra may have overtaken vehicles prior to the collision.

They want to speak to anyone overtaken by the Astra or who saw the car before the crash.
