Police search for stolen cable

DETECTIVES believe thousands of pounds worth of copper cable may be in South Yorkshire after it was stolen from Great Yarmouth.

The black cable, which has a company name plus 5G16 or 5G10 written on, was stolen between Friday, November 9 and Monday, November 12.

Police are linking the burglary to the theft of a unique custom-made vehicle – an Isuzu van, registration AU05 EXZ, with the letters SES on the front and both sides. It was stolen from Great Yarmouth on Sunday.

Police say the van, cable and offenders may be in South Yorkshire.
