Police want to trace these men over an attack in Sheffield city centre

Police want to trace two men over a glassing in Sheffield city centre.

Officers have released a CCTV image of men they believe could hold vital information about the incident outside the Rondevu Bar on Furnival Gate.

Police were called in after a disturbance outside the bar at 10.30pm on Saturday, August 9.

A short time later a 21-year-old man was attacked with a bottle outside Currys on Furnival Gate.

He suffered an injury to his neck and needed hospital treatment.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Police have released a CCTV image of two men they would like to speak to who may hold crucial information about a public order incident in Sheffield.

“Police received reports of a disturbance outside the Rondevu bar on Furnival Gate, Sheffield.

“Shortly afterwards police believe that a 21-year-old man was assaulted with a broken bottle further along Furnival Gate outside the Currys store.

“No arrests have been made at this time and detectives investigating the incidents believe that the two men pictured may hold information vital to the investigation.”
