POLICE in Sheffield are still hunting an arsonist who started a fire which trapped a young family in their flat.
The culprit started a blaze in a bin at the bottom of a set of steps leading to a flat above the Kashmir Grill on Firth Park Road, Firth Park – blocking the only way out of the property.
Four children and their parents had to seek refuge in an upstairs bedroom until firefighters arrived to extinguish the flames, after smoke filtered into their home.
The fire was discovered in the early hours of Thursday.
