Plants stolen in attack on park

A LOCAL group which helps look after one of Doncaster’s biggest parks has appealed for help after plants were stolen during broad daylight.

The plants were snatched from a rockery flowerbed in Sandall Park - and The Friends of Sandall Park Group, who help maintain the park, are asking for help from park users to track down the culprits.

In a plea on the group’s Facebook site, a spokesman said: “Some lowlife has stolen more plants from the rockery. We will hunt you down and catch you like we have with so many other people who spoil the park for others.

“These plants disappear during the daytime. Any description or photos of suspects would be appreciated.”

Anyone with information about the theft can contact 07503 329 309 or log on to www.sandallpark.org.uk
