Pizza delivery man stabbed in attack

A PIZZA delivery driver suffered serious stab injuries after being attacked by a mob of youths during a robbery in South Yorkshire.

The 43-year-old man was set upon by the gang on Nursery Road in Dinnington.

The victim, who lives locally, was taken to Rotherham Hospital where he was treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Four local males and a female have been arrested following the incident on Tuesday at around 9.30pm.

Police officers are also carrying out inquiries around Dinnington.

Witnesses to the attack, or anyone with information, should call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 1133 of February 7.
