Pensioner hurt in road incident

A PEDESTRIAN in her 80s was injured after a collision with a car on a busy South Yorkshire road.

Doncaster Road in Conisbrough was closed at the junction with Crookhill Road following the incident yesterday morning.

The pedestrian’s injuries were not thought to be life threatening and the road was closed while police cleared the scene and carried out investigations into the collision.
