Pensioner hurt in road collision

A PENSIONER has been left fighting for life after being hit by a car as he crossed a South Yorkshire road.

The 91-year-old, from Barnsley, sustained head injuries in the collision on Keresforth Road, Dodworth, when he was struck by a black Kia Rio driven by a 45-year-old Barnsley man on Sunday.
