POLICE have arrested two men on suspicion of two supermarket robberies in Sheffield last month, including a raid on the Co-op branch in Newfield Green.
The suspects were questioned and released after being arrested on Thursday.
Missing OAP hunt
MOUNTAIN Rescue volunteers joined police in searching for a pensioner missing in Wombwell, Barnsley, over the weekend. The hunt for the 75-year-old was mounted on Saturday. She was found safe.
Metalworks blaze
FIREFIGHTERS spent three hours at a blaze at KCM Metals, Ginhouse Lane, Thorn Hill, Rotherham. When crews arrived the first floor of the two-storey building and the roof were engulfed yesterday.
Smoking electrics
FIREFIGHTERS were called to Windmill Hill Primary School, Chapeltown, to smoke pouring from an electrics box near the kitchen yesterday.
