POLICE made arrests and banned some fans from Hillsborough during Sheffield Wednesday’s game against Hull City.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Police can confirm a couple of arrests were made and a number of fans were given dispersal notices under Section 27 of the Violent Crime Reduction Act legislation, during the Sheffield Wednesday v Hull City game on Saturday.
“The majority of fans were well behaved with the exemption of a few supporters.”
Cannabis uncovered
CANNABIS bush worth £1,200 was found by police after officers raided a house on Farmstead Close, Gleadless Valley, Sheffield. They searched the property and arrested two men aged 17 and 21 and a 41-year-old woman.
