Boiler and tools stolen by thieves
A BOILER was among the items stolen during a burglary on Gaunt Way, Gleadless Valley, overnight last Saturday into Sunday.
On nearby Blackstock Road, tools were stolen from a house on Tuesday morning. A shed on nearby Overend Road was broken into the same day.
Playground ablaze
A WOODEN playground slide and climbing frame were set on fire by arsonists on Greenland Close, Darnall, at 8pm on Wednesday. Firefighters were also called to a shed fire on Longley Ings, Oxspring, Barnsley, early yesterday.
Knock-off clothes
COUNTERFEIT clothing was discovered by police during a raid of a house in Maltby, Rotherham. Police said they executed a search warrant after receiving a tip-off.
Number plate theft
A SET of number plates was stolen from a car parked on Gleadless Road, Gleadless Valley, at the weekend.
