A HONDA Accord car was set alight on Auckley Road, Woodseats, at 5.30am on Monday, and a Ford Mondeo was found burning on Brecks Lane, Rotherham.

A caravan was destroyed by fire in a garden on Milton Road, Dinnington, at 2am on Monday.

A Toyota people carrier was set alight in woodland off Cowley Hill, Crosspool, Sheffield, on Wednesday night. Firefighters were called out to extinguish the blaze.

Car out of control

FIREFIGHTERS were called to help release a driver from a car which ran out of control and overturned in the snow on Long Lane, Crosspool, Sheffield, on Wednesday night. Fire crews also made two vehicles safe after a smash in Bamford on Main Street at 10.45pm on Tuesday.

Garden on the slide

EMERGENCY services were called to Botanical Road, Endcliffe, to a report of a landslide. When police and firefighters arrived they found 20m of land had slipped from one garden into a neighbour’s.
