Cooker blaze in city flats complex
firefighters were called to a cooker fire in the West One development on Fitzwilliam Street in Sheffield city centre.
The fire broke out at 6pm on Wednesday but was already out when crews arrived.
Arson attack
A SHED was damaged in an arson attack on an allotment on Wakefield Road, Barnsley.
Firefighters were alerted to the blaze at 7.45pm on Wednesday.
Engine fault fire
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to help a motorist whose Ford Fiesta caught fire after developing an engine fault on Dunninc Road, Shiregreen, Sheffield.
The incident was reported at 10pm on Wednesday.
Land Rover stolen
POLICE are investigating the attempted theft of a Land Rover Defender.
Officers from Derbyshire were called just after 2am on Monday by a resident who noticed two men trying to tow away a 4x4 on King Street North, Whittington Moor. Call 101 with information.
