Listening to the voice of an Angel

Worshippers at St Nicholas Church, Bawtry, will be hearing an Angel speak to them this weekend...

Their guest speaker on Sunday evening is the Rev Andy Angel, currently a lecturer at St John’s Theological College, who will be talking about a book he has recently written on the subject of angels.

Woodland stroll

the Get Doncaster Walking programme continues on Sunday with a Sandall Beat Circular walk, starting at 10.30am from the Environment Centre in the wood. The 4.5 mile stroller takes in the views from the top of Markham Main, the restored colliery tip site.

Horror classic

hull Truck Theatre present The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson at Doncaster Civic Theatre on Wednesday, November 28, from 7.30pm, with tickets priced £14 and £12, or £6 for under 18s.

Public session

Mayor Raymond Hill welcomes members of the public to the Tickhill Town Council meeting on Tuesday, November 27, when matters can be raised at a 15-minute session from 7pm.
