Post-mortem exam on body in gardens

A POST-MORTEM examination is to be carried out today on the body of a man found dead in the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield.

Officers were called to the gardens on Clarkehouse Road in Broomhill on Wednesday at 8am after a body was discovered. The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Gas leak to be fixed

MOTORISTS travelling on a South Yorkshire road are warned about the prospect of traffic disruption until the end of the week as engineers mend a gas leak. National Grid Gas is dealing with a leak on the B6089 Stubbin Road near Upper Haugh, Rotherham, and temporary traffic lights are expected to be in place until Sunday night.

Missing girl found

A TEENAGE girl reported missing in Sheffield has been found safe and well. Adela Copakova, aged 14, from Firth Park, was found at 5.10am yesterday morning after she was last seen outside Hinde House School on Shiregreen Lane at 8.30am on Wednesday.
