Duo in custody over robbery
TWO men have appeared before Sheffield magistrates accused of committing a robbery in the city.
Ashley Wright and Lewis Vickers, both 20, of Lupton Road, Lowedges, were arrested following a report of a robbery on Meadowhead, in Meadowhead, Sheffield, on October 31. The duo have been remanded in custody.
Teen biker injured
A MOTORCYCLIST was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Chesterfield. The 18-year-old Yamaha rider was travelling along the A619 Chesterfield Road when he was involved in a smash with a Ford Mondeo last Friday.
Fireworks yobs
THE police helicopter was sent out to Sharrow and Nether Edge in Sheffield on Saturday to help look for youths reported to have been throwing fireworks at passing cars.
Stolen moped fired
A MOPED was stolen from Worksop railway station and set alight on a public footpath.
