Musician’s inquest abandoned

AN inquest into the death of a musician who was found in a canal after fleeing a police search has been abandoned.

Wayne Hamilton, 25, of Albert Road, Heeley, was discovered in the Sheffield and Tinsley canal on June 15, 2010 – five days after he ran away from police.

His inquest was abandoned on Thursday because a statement had not been distributed to all parties.

It will continue at a later date.
