Motorcyclist dies in hospital following Derbyshire crash

A motorcyclist has died following a collision in Derbyshire.

The incident occurred at 5.10pm on July 12 on Snake Pass when a red Honda CBR 600 motorcycle and a grey Skoda Yeti crashed between Snake Summit and the Ladybower Inn.

The rider of the Honda, a 24-year-old man from Leeds, was airlifted to Sheffield Northern General Hospital, where on Monday, he died.

The two female passengers in the Skoda were treated for broken bones.

Witnesses should contact Derbyshire police quoting incident number 658 of July 12.
