Men bailed over brawl in bar

TWO men arrested over a mass brawl in a Sheffield pub on New Year’s Day have been released on bail.

Police initially arrested a 19-year-old following the disturbance at The Wordsworth Tavern, Wordsworth Avenue, Parson Cross, after reports of up to 50 people fighting.

They later arrested a 37-year-old.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident number 35 of January 1.
