A 29-year-old man has appeared in court following the discovery of more than 200 cannabis plants at a property in Doncaster.
Cuong Van Nguyen, of no fixed address, was at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with production of cannabis in connection with the grow which was found in Urban Road, Hexthorpe, on Wednesday.
Nguyen is also charged with two additional counts of cannabis production in connection with the discovery of plants at a property in Bradford in August last year and at a house in North Wales in July 2012.
He is also facing a charge of perverting the course of justice and a breach of a court order.
Nguyen was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on Thursday 13 February.
