A MAN has been killed and another left seriously injured following a crash on the M1 near Sheffield.
The smash happened on the southbound carriageway at around 6pm yesterday between junction 34 of the motorway, at Meadowhall, and junction 33 at Catcliffe.
Three cars were involved in the accident. One of the vehicles is believed to have left the road and ended up on its roof.
The stretch of motorway was shut for four hours last night, reopening at 10.30pm.
