Man charged with manslaughter over fatal attack in Sheffield city centre

A man has been charged over the death of a student in Sheffield city centre.

Nathan Lloyd Tomlinson, aged 23, of Haslam Crescent, Lowedges, is due to appear before Sheffield magistrates today accused of killing 25-year-old Anowar Tagabo, who was attacked on Carver Street on

Sunday, May 25 and died in hospital on Tuesday, June 3.

He is charged with manslaughter.

Mr Tagabo, a student at the University of Bradford, was visiting Sheffield for a wedding and went for a night out in the city centre afterwards when he was assaulted.
