Jobs safe at clothing store
A SHEFFIELD clothing store threatened with an uncertain future after the chain was sold is to remain open.
In total 13 jobs at women’s clothing shop Bonmarché, on High Street in the city centre, have been saved.
The shop chain, which was part of the Peacocks Group, has been sold to private equity group Sun European Partners.
Around 230 of the branches will remain open nationwide.
Teresa Dovenor, Sheffield store manager, said: “Staff are thrilled with the news.
“We would like to extend a special thanks to all of our customers for their support and messages of encouragement.”
