A CHILD rapist who got a Doncaster teenager and her mother pregnant within weeks of each other has been locked up for 15 years.
The paedophile started a campaign of abuse against his victim when she was eight, soon after moving into the family home in Conisbrough.
He encouraged the child to miss school so they could have baths and sex together and also abused his victim’s friend, a court heard.
The Star is not naming the attacker to protect the victim, who is now in her 20s.
She is bringing up her child with the support of her mother, who is also raising her own child.
A victim statement read out to Doncaster Crown Court said: “There is not a day goes by when I do not think about the hell he put me through – he is an evil and vindictive man.
“He took my innocence, naivety and vulnerability and used them against me for his own desires.
She also talked of her pain at one day having to tell her child that the person she thought was her cousin is actually also her aunt and half-sister – and having to admit the catalogue of abuse which led to the pregnancy.
The man, 41, pleaded guilty to four counts of rape, eight sexual assaults against the girl and a further two counts of abuse against her friend.
The court heard the man moved in with his partner when her daughter was eight.
As she grew older he repeatedly told her he loved her, wanted to run away with her and wanted to marry her when she turned 17.
The court heard he groomed the girl by causing arguments between her and her mother and then forced her to have full sex with him at the age of 13 – an experience she cried through.
The judge, Mr Recorder James Hill QC, said: “This was a girl who trusted you and who you betrayed in the worst possible way – I am sure she is scarred for the rest of her life.”
He was placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register and banned from working with children.
