Police need help tracing a murderer who has failed to return to prison following day release.
Craig Hendley, aged 42, who has known links to South Yorkshire, was last seen at 1.40pm on Wednesday in Redcar, North Yorkshire, on day release from Kirklevington Grange Prison with the Salvation Army.
Hendley, whose nickname is Kidd, has served 20 years so far in various prisons. He has tattoos on his body and on each side of his neck – one of which reads Kidd. He also has a star on his right cheek and has been known to use the alias Paul Craig Brown.
He had a provisional target review date for release in October.
