Frost-jackers strike again

OPPORTUNISTIC thieves have taken advantage of the cold snap in South Yorkshire to steal two cars.

The vehicles were taken on Tuesday morning while motorists were defrosting their vehicles after temperatures plummeted the night before.

The first, a red Land Rover, was taken from Goosecarr Lane, Todwick, Rotherham and the second, a black Vauxhall Astra, was taken from Shirecliffe Road, Shirecliffe, Sheffield.

Anyone with information should call police on 101.
