Funding for free welfare benefits advice has been awarded to South Yorkshire law firm Howells Solicitors.
The contract, provided by the Legal Aid Agency, will enable people to access free legal help to appeal against decisions made by tribunals about their benefits.
The funding is available to anyone in England and Wales, either via face to face advice in the North or through a dedicated telephone service nationally.
Howells’ Project Manager Sue Colven said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract as there are very limited options for people to get free advice about benefits.
“It is also great news for Howells, as it is recognition of the high quality of our work and we are pleased that we can continue offering help and advice.”
