Graduation Douglas Intake 08-01-13

A FORMER Sheffield dance teacher is already flying high in her new role with the Royal Air Force - having been named best recruit.

Lauren Bailey, aged 26, from Burncross, received the honour as she graduated from basic training at RAF Halton, Buckinghamshire.

Lauren, who went to St Pius High School, Rotherham, and worked as a dance teacher at City Limits Dance Centre, Hillsborough, prior to joining the RAF, will now train as an Information and Communication Technician.

She said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my training and I look forward now to starting the next stage.”
