Fire crews have been tackling a fire in South Yorkshire which has been burning for more than three days.

A huge pile of wood chippings went up in flames near Whams Road, Crow Edge, near Penistone, on Saturday, at 4.45am.

Firefighters have been using jets to extinguish the flames.

They have also been trying to create ‘fire breaks’ in the huge mounds of chippings, which are used as a bio fuel.
