Families are being encouraged to enjoy the outdoors by taking part in a cycle ride around Rother Valley Country Park.
The three-mile Sky Ride will take place this Sunday, July 27, and is part of a series of events organised around the Rotherham area this year.
Steve Peters, from British Cycling, said: “The route around the lake is a great opportunity to get out on your bike and join a relaxed and friendly group for a couple of hours of pure fun.
“We live in an amazing part of the world for cycling. So if the Tour de France has inspired you, why not join one of the organised Sky Rides taking place around the borough?”
The ride will meet outside Rother Valley Activity Centre at 10am. It is expected to take around three hours and includes two hours of cycling.
Children aged eight to 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
The free rides around the borough are being organised by British Cycling and Rotherham Council with support from Sky.
They are categorised as easy-going, steady or challenging, with varying distances and gradients.
