Families set for Party in the Park

Nether Edge youngsters will aim to prove they’re the trendiest tots in Sheffield at a Party in the Park fashion show tomorrow afternoon.

Children will model snazzy outfits on the catwalk at the Common Ground, St Peter’s Hall, Woodstock Road.

The event will include a fashion show, music, dancing, makeovers, massage taster sessions and art activities.

It has been funded by the Big Lottery Fund and starts at 2pm, with the catwalk show at 3pm.

Mandy Wilson, a member of Nether Edge Neighbourhood Group which organised the event, said: “The Party in the Park has been organised by local families and will help build on the diverse community of Nether Edge.”

There are two age categories for the fashion show - four to seven, and eight to 12. Children should arrive dressed for the catwalk from 2.15pm.
